RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning)

What is RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning)?

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is a simple process of formal skills recognition through which your existing skills, knowledge and experience are converted into a nationally recognised qualification.

RPL, which stands for Recognition of Prior Learning, is an assessment procedure that utilises your pre-existing abilities to gain a formal credential or a set of competencies without than having to go to school. RPL is an evaluation technique that increases access to formal qualifications for those already working and advancing their professions. It’s a terrific approach to get more employment prospects in Australia, credit exemption in another program (pending acceptance), and skill evaluation based on work experience.

RPL, or recognition of prior learning, takes into account the abilities and information you’ve already acquired through education, job, or other experiences. An RPL exam, whether formal or informal, utilises your current talents to fulfill the credits necessary for a formal qualification.

Business, information technology, commercial cooking, community services, pastry and baking, and many other subjects are the most popular RPL among overseas students.

A Better Way to do RPL

Traditionally, RPL is a lengthy process involving significant paperwork, phone-calls, emails and uncertainty about where you are in the process. We figured there was a better way, and built it from the ground-up. Our unique system is streamlined and generally paperless, so you can enjoy getting your RPL.
